Known for its absorbent properties, this clay works like a sponge, pulling excess oil and impurities from the skin and scalp. When used as a facial mask, it gives a temporary matte finish and a cool, soothing sensation while providing gentle physical exfoliation on rinsing.

It can also be incorporated into a scalp mask to remove buildup and leave hair feeling fresher. Because it is highly absorbent, the clay is best suited for oily or combination skin and hair types.
